TVM Global Entertainment in association with Blue Heron International Pictures announced today that the New York City second unit production crew for Astro Zombies M4: Invaders From Cyberspace has now completed filming.

Second unit director Carmen Amoros Goldberg (The Sopranos) created a terror-filled walk through a city park featuring Jessica Ashley Leighton. Leighton is the reigning Miss Teen New York Tropical. Cameraman Franco Ferrari worked his cinematic magic in below-freezing temperatures, shortly after the winter blizzard which paralyzed the city for a brief period of time.

The folks in New York did an absolutely superb job for us," said associate producer Richard Lester. "Jessica is an extremely talented actress, and I have no doubt that her movie career will be the very latest one launched by Ted V. Mikels."

Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, producer/director Ted V. Mikels is thrilled with both the high quality and fast pace of the production.

"New York, Florida, and Tokyo have wrapped, and we have more than 75% of the principal photography in Las Vegas completed," said Mikels. "Now we're gearing up our second units for California, London and Berlin."

Astro Zombie battle footage was created last weekend in Florida by assistant director Gary Lester. He used a hand-held camera while hanging out the side of a Huey combat helicopter. "Scariest thing I've had to do yet," chuckled Lester.

In Berlin, second unit director Martin Schmitt is preparing scenes in front of the historic Reichstag Building and at the iconic Brandenburg Gate. He will then travel to London to shoot a scene with Scotland Yard.

"Those pesky Astro-Zombies are everywhere, now that they have invaded the internet," laughed Ted V. Mikels.  "AZM 4 will be a great piece of entertainment which will be enjoyed throughout the world."

The current movie is the fourth installment in Mikels' ever-popular franchise, which premiered in 1968 with such Hollywood stars as John Carradine and Wendell Corey.

AZM 4 features veteran actors Sean Morelli (Corpse-Grinders 2), Johnny Martino (The Godfather), and Shanti (Heart of A Boy).
